Curious about over the knee boots, which ones to splurge or save on? Keep reading as I share my top over the knee boots worth splurging or saving on…
We’ve all seen them. The beautiful, the tall, the ever so expensive OTK boots. I mean, I’ve drooled over them, because why wouldn’t you? Today I want to talk about the coveted and the not-so-going out of style over the knee boots. We don’t all have $900 to drop on a pair of boots, so why not try and find some that are just as beautiful, but don’t break the bank? I will admit, a couple years ago I fell into the Stuart Weitzman trend and purchased a pair. It was 100% worth it. I would recommend them to anyone, BUT I do realize now that there are so many styles out there that are just as chic. So let’s get down to it.
Here’s the thing, there are items in life that are definitely worth splurging on. Stuart Weitzman boots are completely worth the money, but unless we want to sell our homes and make the boots are new house, it’s not an option for everyone. That’s a pretty penny to drop for boots, but when you NEED something, you need it. Obviously.
That’s why I have spent my life’s work. Or at least today’s work, finding the best deals on over the knee boots that are just as stylish, classy, and boss-like. I mean it’s fall, what else are you suppose to wear?
No heel… Heel.. take your pic! I own both pairs of boots, and I can honestly say that Marc fisher does SUCH a good job of making an OTK boot. I didn’t have any problem with them slipping down or not staying tied. The only thing I really could compare is that Stuart Weitzman boots have an all silk lining, which does help with your legs getting too hot.
I haven’t been able to get a colored OTK boot yet, but these tan and grey options make me want to run out and get them right now. I’m obsessed with a good grey boot, especially when it is styled right. There are a couple options when it comes to saving, but these were my favorite! Marc fisher really does it right, especially with these tan boots.
What boots am I wearing in these pics? Well you can find them above! Marc Fisher of course, and they have been my go to for the past couple of seasons. They really seem to top off any outfit. When it comes to Over the knee boots I think a **little** bit of money needs to be spent, merely because of the quality of the fabric. I notice that with cheaper OTK boots you are going to find the pairs that slip, or don’t hold up properly. If you invest just a little bit of money in a real suede or leather, you WILL notice a difference. That doesn’t mean you need to drop over $500, but even in the $150-$200 range. It’s worth that extra money!!
Ummmmm excuse me while I go order those Steve Madden boots. They are so beautiful!! These tan Over the knee bopts are SO good for fall, or even spring (shrugging girl emoji)! I love a good block heel too, it adds some height but doesn’t break your back by the end of the night.
Leather boots for winter? Nuff said.
